- Do I need an alignment sheet to start?
- No. Start with OEM or a baseline you trust; upload a sheet later and we OCR it automatically. You can also record a session without any setup data at all.
- How long does the first session take to capture?
- Under three minutes. Alignment + tire pressures + the context form fit on one screen, and setup inheritance from the last session fills most of it automatically.
- Can I import setups from another app or spreadsheet?
- Not directly yet. Snap a photo of an alignment sheet and we OCR it; bulk CSV / Google Sheets import is on the roadmap.
- Do I need internet at the track?
- No. The app works offline — sessions queue in IndexedDB and sync when you reconnect. AI analysis runs once you are back online.
- Does it work on my phone in the paddock?
- Yes. Installs as a PWA from any browser on iPhone or Android. Photo capture, alignment OCR, and session recording all work one-handed.
- What car classes does it cover?
- Street, track-day, club racer, time attack, autocross. If your car has springs, dampers, and four contact patches, the rule library has you.
- Does it support 1/2/3/4-way coilovers?
- Yes. The suspension editor shows 1, 2, 3, or 4 damper columns per corner based on your car’s hardware. Non-adjustable struts hide the damper section entirely.
- Can I track multiple cars on one account?
- Yes. Each car has its own baseline, current setup, session history, tire inventory, and spec sheet. Pick an active car and the sidebar routes Alignment / Suspension / Other straight to it.
- Does it handle FWD / RWD / AWD drivetrain specifics?
- Yes. Drivetrain layout is a first-class field on every vehicle and SATRE rules are retrieval-scored for drive-specific recommendations — you will not get RWD-only advice on a FWD car.
- Is this “AI”?
- A language model writes the recommendation, but every call traces back to a specific numbered rule in the SATRE library. No black-box vibes — open the rule, audit the reasoning, argue with it.
- What is the SATRE library?
- SATRE = Suspension, Alignment & Tire Rules Engine. A 1700+ rule workbook covering diagnostic decision trees, setup recommendations, tire-temperature interpretation, alignment targets, and safety gates. The AI grounds every recommendation in it.
- Where do the rules come from?
- Foundational motorsport engineering literature (Milliken RCVD, Gillespie, Dixon, Carroll Smith), HP Academy courses, OptimumG seminars, 66 YouTube channels from recognized authorities, and manufacturer documentation. Every rule cites its source.
- Can I override the AI’s recommendation?
- Yes. Recommendations are advice, not directives. You are the engineer on-site — your session notes, driver feel, and override reasoning all persist so the next analysis knows why you went a different way.
- What does it cost?
- Free to start. No credit card. Paid tiers arrive once we have earned them.
- Who sees my data?
- You. Full stop. No mining, no public defaults, no third-party analytics on your setups. Export a ZIP of everything, any time.
- Do you train AI on my setups?
- No. Your setup data is never used to train or adjust any model. Recommendations are generated per-session from the SATRE rule library; your data stays yours.
- Can I delete my account and all my data?
- Yes. Settings → Delete account purges every session, vehicle, photo, and audit entry. A grace period via the trash panel lets you restore anything you delete inside the app first.
